Crochet Small Flower

Crochet Small Flower

I love to add some small details to my toys. I think the small details make the difference, add a certain charm. So here is an easy to follow crochet pattern to create a tiny beautiful crochet flower. You can use this flower to complement your crochet project and make it really unique.

All you need is 100% cotton yarn (or cotton and acrylic mix yarn), a 2,5 mm crochet hook and a darning needle.

Abbreviations:

  • ch – chain
  • st – stitch
  • sc – single crochet
  • dc – double crochet
  • sl st – slip stitch

Start with white color yarn and make 10 sc in a magic ring.

Attach the yellow color yarn, chain 2 and crochet 4 dc in the same st, chain 2 and sc in the next st; [chain 2, 4 dc in same st, chain 2, sc in next stitch] – repeat 4 more times. At the end you’ll have 5 small petals. Finish with a sl st and fasten off.

Fasten off and weave in ends. You can use the yarn end left in the begining to sew the flower to a toy or another crochet project.

If you want you can add a small stem to the flower.

For the stem use green color yarn. Chain 10 and sc in 2dn chain st away from the hook. Crochet 8 more sc till the end. Finish with a sl st, leave a long tail.

Using a darning needle sew the stem on the back side of the flower.

Your small crochet flower is ready! 🙂
